Sailing at Blythe Landing on Lake Norman

Lake Norman Community Sailing (LNCS), which is celebrating its 10th anniversary as a community partner to the County, is helping to make sailing and waterfront activities affordable, accessible and safe for residents.

It’s home to a fleet of over 60 sailboats (dinghies and keelboats), paddleboards and kayaks. The center is open year-round and employs full and part-time staff. Adult and youth sailing instruction is offered in the spring, summer and fall, with weekly youth camps offered during the summer. Residents can also enjoy weekly programs throughout the year. View the event schedule.

LNCS does not rent boats, but sells 3-month and 12-month individual and family passes, giving customers access seven days a week.

So, what are you waiting for? Grab the entire family, join us at Blythe Landing and let’s go sailing today!
